Author bio:
As Chief Imagination Officer of Creative Sage™, I live a passionate personal mission to cause the spontaneous combustion of creativity, innovation, and compassionate intelligence everywhere!
In addition to my 9th win in 2011, I was an eight time NaNoWriMo Winner in 2001-2008 — yes, I've surprised myself by writing at least 50,000 words each November, the first drafts of nine novels! (More information is available at the "Novel Info" tab above.) I took a sabbatical from NaNoWriMo in 2009 and 2010 to work on chapters for nonfiction books, plus write articles, blog posts, poetry, compose music, perform, shoot video and take photos.
In November of 2009, I also traveled to the Harvard Faculty Club in Cambridge, Massachusetts, to accept a major award. One of my clients, Sutter Medical Center Castro Valley/Eden Medical Center (a Sutter Health affiliate), won the 2009 SNCR (Society for New Communications Research) Award for Excellence and Innovation in External Communications and Communities in the Nonprofit Division, along with my company, Creative Sage™/Cathryn Hrudicka & Associates, and G2 Communications, Inc. In addition to my other consulting, strategizing, training, mentoring, and project co-management roles, I wrote the winning case study for the project. The story about the award is here:

~ The Age of Conversation 3: It's Time to Get Busy (2010), edited by Drew McLellan and Gavin Heaton;
~ A Guide to Open Innovation and Crowd Sourcing: Advice from Leading Experts (Kogan Page, 2011), edited by Paul Sloane, with a foreword by Henry Chesbrough.
