Author bio:
Felis tuberosum.
Mammal. An uncommon species of human. Distributed across the southern and western areas of England, Felis tuberosum, or the "Potato Cat", can usually be found in the same habitat as knitted cacti and the Gallus gallus phantasticum.
Slow to anger and quick to sleep, Felis tuberosum is a slothful creature by nature, restricting its activities to making up Latin words and punning on trivial subjects, but during the month of November it is possessed by a curious urge to write fifty thousand words in thirty days. Upon completion of this unexplained task, the creature lapses back into hibernation.
