Author bio:
I'm a 24-year-old student of Oriental Studies, namely Japanese, at Helsinki University. My minors are Language Technology and Translation Studies. I'm doing my Bachelor's degree this year, which is already giving me headaches and much to do in November.
I've been writing ever since I can remember, and decided on a professional author's career when I was 12. My first books were of epic 2-page proportions, but nowadays 60k is an easy task. Sometimes it happens after a lot of editing, like in the case of my first NaNo, which I basically rewrote for my three first WriMo years. At the moment that text is going round publishing houses, but I haven't had time to concentrate on sending it on for a while now.
I usually write texts spiced with fantastical elements, but this year I'm writing my first "normal" NaNo, and also my first one in English, mainly because I'm going to be very busy in November, and the wordcount is easier to achieve in English, and without extensive researching on aforementioned fantastical elements or such.
