Author bio:
What is there to say? Not much, I'll say that. *laughs* I'm quite the complicated character - just ask most people who know me pretty well, or think they do. Anyway, I've been writing novels since the age of 10, each getting better than the last. I think it's such an awesome responsibility and privilege to write like I do and get the chance to continue my writing in ways I never imagined before. NaNoWriMo has been one of the very few opportunities where I have been able to exploit my writing talent and push myself to the limits.
I'm a well-rounded individual, with straight-A's in school. I've played the piano for ten years now, since I was hardly 6 years old. It's one of the reasons I guess I'm so well-rounded and educated in so many areas, since the musical interest has broaden horizons that I wouldn't have been able to see and get to if I had not been 'forced' to start learning to play the piano. My advice: Learn to play a musical instrument. It is a worthwhile investment, and it can help you in so many ways that it's actually quite difficult to describe what I mean. But nevertheless, try an instrument, whether it is the guitar, the piano, the violin, the cello, or even the harmonica.
I am also a Ballroom dancer. I've been dancing for four years now, and I'm pleased with what I have accomplished so far. Already, I'm a Silver 1 dancer - only a select few of us are up there at the moment - and I used to be the youngest student there, but not anymore. I'm getting old, I guess. :) It's an interesting combination, I suppose, considering that most people wouldn't think that people my age participate in such a hobby nowadays, especially an academic whom most would think of as studying all the time. No siree - I'm just that diverse, I suppose. So, basically I dance Waltz, Viennese Waltz, Tango, Argentine Tango, Foxtrot, Cha-Cha, Swing, West Coast Swing, Hustle, Merengue (on rare occasions), Polka (on rare occasions), Rumba, Bolero, Bachata (on rare occasions), Paso Doble (on rare occasions due to lack of partners), Mambo, and a few others that I can't name off the top of my head right now. Bet you haven't heard of some of those dances, huh? Thought so. *laughs*
So, yeah...I hope you've enjoyed reading this when you should be out there writing your butt off and getting things done. I mean, that's what I should be doing rather than typing this out. *chuckle* Oh, well, one can't do everything at once, I suppose.
