Author bio:
Hello! I am an avid admirer of the French Revolution, Doctor Who, German musicals, and French musicals. Yeah, so I'm a Franco-Anglo-Germanophile. :)
Particularly I like to study the French Revolution and the people within it. Maximilien Robespierre, crazy as he was, is fascinating to read about. Charlotte Corday is as well, and I wish that there were more resources about her. I also like to read about the young Louis XVII, son of Louis XVI and Marie-Antoinette, and he is the focus of my 2011 NaNoWriMo.
In regards to Doctor Who, I'm all for Eleven. Bowties, fezes, and stetsons are all very cool. :) I think Rory Williams is a great character, and I really hope he doesn't die. Again. I want to learn more about River Song, and the exact parameters of her relationship with the Doctor, but I suppose that's going to have to wait until next season.
As for German musicals, I love Elisabeth. The story is great and the singers (well, my favorite ones...Kamaras especially) are wonderful. I also like Rebecca. That musical is how I learned about the awesome book Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier. :)
Also, I love French musicals. Mozart l'Opera Rock, Notre-Dame de Paris, and the original French Les Miserables are absolutely fantastic. I'm currently following the new musical 1789: Les Amants de la Bastille, but only one song (Ca ira mon amour - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Om4EIUWrYQ ) has been released so far.
My current favorite writing music is as follows:
1. Soundtrack to The Dark Knight by Hans Zimmer and James Newton-Howard
2. Soundtrack to Inception by Hans Zimmer
3. Elisabeth das Musical (in Hungarian, of course. ;) )
