I'm waiting to get cavities fixed, and I get to apply that nasty-tasting oral analgesic every 5k words. Hoorah for focus-sharpening pain!
As I mutter aloud the dialogue I'm typing, sometimes I am so overcome with frustration at not being able to think of the right speech tag that I burst into tears.
I can only find one of my fingerless gloves, and it is cold, so I am wearing it along with my old sweatshirt that has an extra-wide collar and tights, and every time I get up to go to the bathroom I pretend I'm in an 80s dance movie and insult some boy who thinks he can take liberties because I'm a free-spirited dancer.
