I'm a Christian, but writing novels about people seeking redemption or Bryan Davis stuff or Ted DekKer thrillers is a bit out of my league and also too cliche for me. Lo siento. Fantasy is my realm...

I heard about NaNoWriMo from my older sister, so I decided to make an account since my instinct is to copy her faithfully in most everything because it's all pretty much cool stuff. I made an account a while ago, but have really been procrastinating, but this year I've decided to do it. I figured I need more hobbies beside wasting time and homework, so this seemed like a great opportunity for something different. Well, this year (2012) I need to do Nanowrimo to prove to myself that I can do it. I saw two of my friends win it last year, so even if I'm a sucky writer, attempts qualify. Throughout middle school, my friends and I made Warriors fanfiction Sites using Google Sites, and so we've written quite a bit (Mostly Fernpelt). On Warriors Wish Fanfiction, my username was xxchococatxx but my account seems to have been deleted. My friend's account was chococat (copying me), but she has written some pretty epic pieces. The name Chococat came from.... you guessed it, Sanrio characters. They're so cute, in sixth grade I went by the name Keroppi, but now I go by Chococat.

I hope that this year I'll be able to make it past the 25,000 word mark, so any encouragement will be greatly appreciated! Last year I stopped at 16k. But now that I'm in high school, and my parents bug me about homework (when I don't have any except studying) and they don't care about my grades, alkurguiWerhgaur and there goes my novel. Undoubtedly, it'll be a challenge to fight for the family desktop every day since no tablet, typing on 2nd gen iPod = an ordeal, a broken laptop, and a mom and brother who use it too.
