I grew up in Ohio, Texas and Southern California. I went to many different schools and always looked at our moves as an opportunity to make new friendships. As an adult, I have lived in Texas, Northern CA and WI. I have now lived in this house for almost 8 years. That is the longest I have ever been anywhere. Staying in one place this long has been fantastic. It doesn't hurt that this part of WI is beautiful.

I have always been an avid reader, but I haven't written a lot beyond school requirements and journals once in awhile. This will be quite a stretch for me.
