As I enter my second NaNoWriMo, The last sentence in last year's bio catches my breath. I've moved it here:
We all have a story to tell. Some of us have dozens. The brave ones write them down.
I've been writing since I was child of perhaps age 3 when I drew my first book. It was about Noah's Ark and I was really annoyed because the yellow markers did not make the giraffs show up well. Since then, I have played with words as much as possible.
I have written scripts. Many of my published magazine and newspaper articles have won awards (including a first place national award!). My other novels and poetry collections remain where they are, in various states of unfinished. This is my push to move beyond that and let those words breathe.
