Author bio:
Hey it's Bones McKay! I'm the writer of the The Most Amazing Webcomic ever, illustrated By Ursula Gray.
A story told by The Most Amazing! untalented, magicain in history, about a young, naive, and stupid successor to the throne who fortunately is kidnapped by a gorgeous sky pirates.
I've been writing for as long as I could hold a pencil... or maybe kindergarten. And recently I started writing my A's in the right direction. However please don't ask me the bifference detween a b and d.
I started on my first novel back in grade 5. It was about my dog gaining super powers, and it sucked. It later was adapted into a comic that also sucked.
Grade 6 however was when it all got serious. I started on my epic novel and finish my first rough draft of it in grade nine. I have since dropped the project but it still holds a place in my heartleg.
Speaking of heartlegs in the process of letting go of "The Books of Avo" I began on my first book to make it into the editing process, "Scrapped". I wrote this novel for NaNoWriMo and I'm finishing my edits on it this fall.
Scrapped is the story of a boy who literally has his heart and leg stolen. In a world where everything has stopped dying and ageing Tea is forced to brave it's many scrappers and slums alongside Charles, a girl dedicated to fixing it.
I have begun to participate in NaNoWriMo biyearly to keep up a continuous stream of writing as well as editing, working on my urban fantasy series and The Most amazing comic ever.
I am dedicated to my craft and remain working with it through all the troubles life brings me. I look forward to becoming even better with writing with each key I press.
