Author bio:

This is my second year doing this challenge. I had a blast and learned so much about myself and about the writing process that I decided to do it again! The first story "Calling the Circle" will be self published in May or June 2013. I had heard about the Challenge before but being only a few months away from the end of my Masters program in school, decided that my thesis project/paper was more critical to write -- not as fun, but more critical! I have had several short stories published and an antholgy, and a romance novel but that was years ago and the money received for it paid off the student loan for my first bachelors degree. I mostly did it because the Ex-Husband said I wsn't talented enough - HA!

I truly love the written word and the craft of shaping images, creating both sympathy and empathy, and bringing to life the inate humor that is in everyday life. While I really enjoy writing fantasy, fiction, and romance, I want to veer a bit away from that with this challenge and write some real life humor and experiences from the Young Adult Genre format. I "HOPE" I can be successful!

I look forward to the challenges that the next few weeks will bring!
