Author bio:

I have been a writer since I knew how to put words together. A large part thanks to my mum, she is a librarian and would always encourage reading but i like to believe that even if she was a nurse or a Chef I would still be a writer. I think that's something we writers don't have a choice in, it's kind of embedded into every part of who we are.
The first book I ever wrote was a child's one, fitting since I was five. It was about a pregnant woman and her daughter trying to figure out where she had gone and why she came back with a new baby. I wrote many books as i was growing up, one about a haunted house and a space ship ride. Then a semi-autobiographical one called Inside me, that was in year seven. I never finished because i couldn't quite figure out how to. My life seemed to keep going on.
After that was a series called On the other side. Fantasy. That made it to 315 pages, at least 100,000 words.
In 2009 I entered the Frustrated writers competition and came first thanks to my novel Halfway home. That was about a young girl charged with the murder of her mum and step-dad and it was also about her father. Quite a complicated story that won me a mentor - Jane Bourke - and I met the author of looking for alabradi at a dinner with many other published authors, editors and publishes. It was very exciting for me, a great experience.
Since then i have been working on Safe by my side. A love story about a boy with a terminal illness and the way his family deal with their challenges in life as well. Told from multiple points of view, all in first person.
There are many other books I am working on at the same time, Cross my heart, Truth be told, Fall from Grace and others that are nameless for now.
I'm twenty years old and haven't even truly started my writing career. I'm enthralled by the idea of it.
