Author bio:

I work at the Wellington Central Library (cause that's where the books are).
I finished a B.A. with a double Major in Economics and History sometime last decade, and have been meandering around ever since and working part time at the Library - because the cold regularity of a forty hour week does not appeal. Having continued the story of my first Nano (it eventually grew a bit wild - much larger than 50k) I am currently trying to polish it a bit. Publishing it is the final goal.

In between that, I am an avid follower of News & Politics, (arguably an extension of my studies at university), I enjoy reading history books (ditto), and occasionally watch talks/interviews/debates by famous heretics and/or scientists on youtube.

I take it as a compliment that I am sometimes mistaken for an English literature graduate (usually by those who haven't studied English literature themselves) - not that I am a big fan of Shakespeare. My experience of English literature - and particularly those who have pursued it - is that there is a tendency for teachers and professors (and other such professionals) to be highly dismissive of even the greatest authors outside their own preferred literary sphere. So sod off to them.

I can sometimes be seen riding a big, black mountain bike.
