My day job is as a tax professional and small business bookkeeper, but writing is my passion. I'm 34, and I live with my parents as much for their convenience as my own. I'm a politically active far-left progressive who doesn't at all mind being labeled a socialist who lives in a far-right ultra-conservative red state. I'm unmarried, and will probably remain that way, no kids either, but I do have three adorable nieces ages 8, 6, and 3 and a nephew who will turn 2 during NaNoWriMo this year.
Someday I would like to go back to college and get degrees in cultural studies and political science (maybe a minor in religious studies). The goal is one day teaching. I'd love to specialize in popular culture and particularly the effect of the political climate on popular culture.
