Author bio:
I'm a 20 year old, young woman. I have attempted several stories, but never came far. NaNoWriMo is the perfect opportunity to try and finish something. The story I am attempting to write 50.000 words for is also the first story I will write completely in English.
The inspiration of this story mainly comes from two series with magic schools. One of those series is world famous and known by many. (See favourite books or authors) the other is from a Dutch writer, which I have only discovered this year. I have always liked to write about magic, since you can literally get everything go should you want to.
More about me? I live in the Netherlands and study International Communication. I am currently a fourth year (my last year) so I am very curious if I can combine both a very challenging studies and a very challenging November. I love soft autumns (meaning that the temperatures are nice) and spring. I have a very undefinable taste in music; I listen to numbers from musicals (Wicked, The Lion King, Rent, The Phantom of the Opera), Japanese rock, melodic metal; pop, and I could continue for a while. Also, I have a craze for Japan, and have started watching Takarazuka musicals with a friend. (Takarazuka being a theater group that consists ONLY of women. So even the male roles are played by women. They are quite good, if you ask me.)
