Hard to say. I've read some till the covers fell off. At one point, I even got Baen to replace a tattered copy of Mercedes Lackey's 'Children of the Night'. , Mercedes Lackey, Elizabeth Haydon, Jaqueline Carey, Garth Nix, J. K. Rowling,

Author bio:

You know, I hate these things. At one point a couple years ago, I slapped something in here that was dumb and pseudo-cute. I figure I'll make a go at being serious.

I'm a mother of two, and have been working for OLL for three years now. It's an incredible honor, and it still kinda thrills me that I was chosen for this job.

I'm a fantasy/sci-fi writer, unpublished as of yet, a mother of two, and a born-and-bred southern belle. I've been doing NaNo for a lot longer than I really care to think about, and was the municipal liaison for my area before I was hired on as staff here.

As I've aged, my writing has taken a dark turn; I use it to explore the shadowy nooks and crannies of my mind, and it tends to reflect reality more than I'd like: Good and evil aren't always so clear, and the line between them can blur. There is absolute good, and absolute evil, but neither exist in humanity. There aren't always happy endings, the innocent get corrupted. People get hurt, die. Good people screw up, bad people do good things, and sometimes... things aren't always what they seem. Only by looking hard and long at your innermost thoughts and soul will you ever determine whether what you think is the reality is true.

I always look for my happy ending, though.
