Dutchbando has successfully completed her sixth NaNoWriMo. Many thanks to Em for suggesting she try it - even though she thought the idea was insane at the time. Out of six tries, Dutchbando has won four times and has two complete novels and a manuscript-in-progress to show for it. She is a proud Knight of NaNoWriMo and she and her trusty mountain goat Rufus will charge toward 50,000!
This year the theme song for Dutchbando's NaNovel was 'Reel Around the Sun' from Riverdance. It had nothing to do with the plot but its fast and happy melody helped inspire her to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.
Dutchbando works as a freelance educator. She is currently searching for more permanent and fulfilling work. In her spare time Dutchbando enjoys watching the Packers, taking long walks, reading, and doing jigsaw puzzles.
