Author bio:
I am an ABD (All But Dissertation) PhD student in Anthropology. This is my second year of being thwarted in Nanowrimo. Last year my computer broke in the middle of Nov. (I didn't lose the work, but I lost the computer for a month). This year, my thesis draft is due Dec. 4. So in the spirit of really *wanting* to do Nanowrimo, and wanting to be participating in a community that's also engaged in a crazy writing project, I'm going to track my progress for November here, although I won't submit the draft for a "win" since it doesn't really qualify.
