Author bio:

Writer.

Blogger.

Lover.

For four years, El Santo has been blogging about webcomics at The Webcomic Overlook, which gets 2000 views a day. The site has been referenced at MacLean's, Comic Book Resources, and Comics Beat. Santo has interviewed comic book luminaries such as Shannon Wheeler (Too Much Coffee Man), Neil Kleid (Action, Ohio), and Robert Berry (Ulysses "Seen"). The Webcomic Overlook has also been involved in awards ceremonies: El Santo was a judge at the 2011 Webcomic List Awards alongside John Allison (Scary Go Round) and Ed Powers and Melissa DeJesus (My Cage).

El Santo is also a big fan of comic history. One favorite aspect of The Webcomic Overlook is the Know Thy History pieces, which have covered the histories of Krazy Kat, Polly & Her Pals, The Addams Family, and, yes, The Red Bee.

On his free time, El Santo puts together plastic model airplanes, helps direct the choir at his church, develops logos for area bands, and bikes. El Santo hopes to do the STP next year, having already cycled 1/4th the distance of the entire route in a bid to raise money for charity.

El Santo is not actually a luchador.
