Author bio:

I’m 26, I live in the Flemish part of Belgium and this will be my first year here.
I’m not very good at doing these bio’s so I’ll keep it short.
My hobbies are writing (no really?), reading, drawing, doing puzzles, playing games, listening to music and when I get the chance hanging out with friends. I’m curious by nature, am interested in almost anything and I love learning new things. My mind does tend to be a black hole when it comes to dates, names and who is doing what job/study at the time, but for some reason the weirdest facts take up a permanent residence in my head. (You can try me if you like.) When I feel at ease I tend to be very talkative and probably a little bit weird. You should see my family when they get together. ^_~

I’ve been writing for as long as I can remember. My chosen genre is mostly fantasy, but I do tend to cross over into others from time till time, both in writing as reading. I’ve been a member of and owned written rpg’s for several years, in both Dutch and English, until the ones I was in all died out. My biggest problem is that I have a very active and annoying inner critic/editor who feels nothing is good enough. I usually get stuck rewriting things, or just throwing them away and I hope doing this might help me break that cycle.
When it comes to writing I can’t plot, even if my life depended on it. I can try, but my characters have a mind of their own and I can’t force them into anything. Not unless I drag them kicking and screaming and of course that doesn’t work. It feels like they are very much alive up there and when I try to explain that to people around me, I always feel obligated to add (after seeing their strange looks) that I’m really not insane. And like my icon says, plot bunnies have a way of multiplying in my head.

If you want to know anything else, feel free to ask.
