I'm a hardcore lover of books, libraries and anything remotely wordy.
Red wine & coffee drinker (user of whitening toothpaste), casual baker, occasional knitter, xbox gaming addict.

I'm also known as 'Beaker' thanks to my knack of getting a tad squeeky and beeping when I am excited/annoyed/tipsy. Meep Meep.

I studied archaeology at Durham, but accidentally ended up becoming an accountant. Now I live in London and try to get the most out of living in one of the greatest cities on Earth.

This will be my third year participating in Nano, and, after a 30k standstill disaster in 2010, crashing and burning due to work pressures in 2011, 2012 will be my year!

Books, music, and films are my greatest passions in life, and I'm lucky enough to have wonderful friends and family to share these with.

Also, I'm fully prepared for the zombocalypse.
