Author bio:

I was born and grew up in southern Finland, and spent my summers in our family cottage in the archipelago. One could not have had a better upbringing, I have wonderful parents and relatives and am happy with what I have. Apart from Finland, I lived a while in Norway, and in Autumn 2011 I visited Luxembourg briefly for 3 months. I'm married to the best woman in the world and I have many friends at home. Life's good.

I've always been good to write, but I have not finished anything longer than 20ish pages before. I started writing a book about 10 years ago, but it still lies unfinished with 15 or so pages and I haven't touched it in years. I bit something too big there, trying to follow Tolkiens footsteps in creating a world with a history, several cultures and own languages. I've also written some poems when I was younger, but haven't done that either in years. I usually write fictional novels in a medieval world, but there have been some tries in science fiction and modern settings in the past too. I hate magic and elves and love realism and one-hit kills.

My inspiration comes from a community of friends from three continents. This international community is connected almost only through IRC and a forum, orginally created for a small Finnish game. The common language in the group is unsurprisingly English, so I'm a seasoned user of the tongue (far from perfect though). I actually recently discovered that today it's more natural to me to write in English than in my mother tongue, Finnish.
