She walked down the sets of stairs until she reached the second floor. She then started wandering around the halls, seeing every room number but 251. The only noises she heard were the sounds of her old, dingy white, worn out converse knockoffs slapping and squeaking on the floor. The lack of sound made her nervous. She continued to wander around the halls, searching for the elusive room number 251 until she started to hear another pair of shoes slapping and squeaking against the floor, the sound getting closer and closer. She was about to start running when she saw a boy about her age come around the corner. He had dark brown hair, the only sign of his hair color not being black being the fact that it shone brown instead of a white or blue. She couldn't see his exact eye color from the distance, but they looked to be a blue-green like her own. He was wearing a black tank top, black pants and black shoes. His hair was long in front, reaching just past his chin and short and spiky in the back. As he came closer, she noticed that his eyebrow was pierced and so were his ears. He had two scars on his bottom lip from where it had obviously been pierced before. He had the muscles of a god in her opinion. There wasn't a part of his upper body that didn't appear to be at the perfect amount of ripped. He was in no way overly muscled. He looked like he spent just the right amount of time working out and not too much. As her eyes combed over his body, she found herself having the types of thoughts that erased any doubt that she was going to go to hell.
“I take it you’re the girl they told me would be showing up here.” He said when he was about halfway to where she stood. His voice was light and calming, though it did nothing to calm her raging hormones.
“Um, yeah, I am. Who are you? I mean, I know who you are, well not exactly know, more like have an abstract idea, but I’m looking for a name to put with your sexy body, I mean, um, your face. Please forget that random word vomit. I’m Elle Marris. What’s your name?” She mentally slapped herself for not thinking through what she wanted to say before speaking. She really hoped that he ignored her stupidity because otherwise this was going to be really awkward.
“I’m Keegan Marlon. Forgetting the random word vomit isn’t a problem. It confused me anyway. I was going back to my room after working out and I hear you walking around, so I came to see what was going on.”
“I’m looking for my classes and I’m trying to find room 251 but I can’t seem to.”
“You mean that room 251?” Keegan asked as he pointed to the room they were right next to while smirking.
“You’ve got to be kidding me.” Elle said as her jaw dropped. “I must have gone up and down this hallway ten times!”
