Synopsis

The story concerns three young lads, Jason, Stefan and Pradipto and a girl called, Marianne, who work in a Brighton call centre who finally shake themselves from their collective inertia and end up in Jakarta looking for 'themselves.' The outcome involves poignant and sympathetic episodes and insights into their lives with a couple of deaths along the way and a twist of good fortune at the end.
It tells of camaraderie, male awkwardness, misplaced sexual encounters and modern day protectiveness towards a bullied female.
It's set now and written in the third person.
