Gilly Bean
Author bio:
Hi, I'm Gillian! I'm thirteen, and this is my first year of NaNoWriMo (Well, actually, I signed up last year and forgot about it o.o) I love music, I play trumpet in my school band, and I get too obsessed with things sometimes. I'm over emotional, a scaredy cat, and devoted to writing.
The novel I'm writing this month is called FortePiano, and it's a new thing for me because I usually write fantasy, not realistic fiction. But I hope you enjoy it anyway.
MY WRITING BUDDIES
Molly (Writing Hellhound)
"Molly might sound like a sweet name, but don't be fooled! Molly is a huge, ferocious beast. She looks like an Irish Wolfhound, but is triple the size and meaner than a mama bear. I bet you thought you were going to be doing something other than writing today - well, if you adopt Molly, forget about it! She will chase away all distractions and even a few responsibilities. You mean you wanted to eat? Not until you give her another 500 words! Molly would probably be good for someone who's a bit behind on their word count, she'll get you caught up in no time! However, at night she'll finally let you get some rest. She'll curl up with you, taking up most of the bed, but will help you figure out all your writing problems while you dream."
Alocia (Writing Angel)
"She's a short 10 year old angel with pink glittery wings that she likes flapping very much. Her favorite thing is tea time, as she's a proper British angel. She wants someone to play with her, after they meet their wordcount without deleting anything, of course. She won't hesitate to have a temper tantrum to keep you from deleting but she'll forgive you for minor things. Very nice overall but as I said, when she gets angry watch out!"
Casper (Writing Dragon)
"He likes cheese, for no apparant reason...He is also a big fan of replacing all contractions with their full words. He enjoys sitting upon your head and flicking his tail back and forth as he watches you type on NaNo forums instead of in your novel. If you get up to watch television, he will stare at you until you resume your spot in front of the computer, where he will resume his spot upon your head. He likes it when you scratch behind his ear, and although he may snort flames, he means no harm. He loves himself, and if you adopt him, he will love you too!"
