Author bio:

I started writing as a schoolgirl in the 60's when I discovered i could justify many, many hours of staring off into space by spending more hours crafting those far-away thoughts into stories. Most of my early (classic!) short stories were lost during a series of location shifts in the 70's and 80's, but eventually, the attempt to recreate them led me to NaNoWriMo, where I discovered that my prolific day-dreams aren't short stories or articles ... they are novels!!

I'm married to a retired British Sailor I met online, guardian of 2 very naughty cats, known to flail on a drumkit to blues and classic rock, and can occasionally be spotted using high-tech equipment and multi-million-dollar satellites for searching out tupperware behind trees and under rocks. I make regular appearances at The Day Job, but still mostly day-dream and write. I'm torn between longing for a log cabin on a lake in the woods, or a beach cottage beneath palm trees on a tropical island (thinking it's much easier to string up a hammock than it is to keep a wood stove burning all winter!). But until I decide, both the locations, and the longing for, are gonna make great stories!
