Québécois through and through - born there, raised there, and proud of who I am, and where I'm from. Without any implication that I think of myself as "not canadian" in anyway; to me "Canadian" is implicit in "Québécois". I'm both, but Québécois is more precise about who I am :-p.
For people looking for translation, the text in my avatar says "My country is not a country, it is winter." It's meant (in this case) in the most apolitical way possible.
