Author bio:

I write under two names ~ as Kathy Ann Trueman, I write fantasy, and as Catherine Dove, I write Regency romances, and I've dabbled a bit in fanfic. I'm an Army brat now settled in Texas with a friend and a bunch of animals. Never married, never had kids, by choice (I'm a child of the 60s). I love chocolate, beer, animation in all its forms, animals, sexy men of all ages (although what I think is sexy does not always fit the "norm"), and Nano; I loathe intolerance, willful stupidity, getting up early, and most vegetables. My literary influences are a glittering list of truly excellent writers, but few will show up on any "literary" list (Jane Austen might be the only one) - they're mostly genre writers in the fields of sci-fi, fantasy, mystery, history, and, in romance, Georgette Heyer. I'm a voracious reader and always have been - lacking anything else, I'll read nutrition labels. I do subscribe to the idea that a good writer is also a good reader. I've finished all but one of my Nano novels, and I've had some one published as an ebook with two more to follow soon.
