Author bio:
I've been writing novels since 5th grade, but I'm older now and much wiser and realized that short stories are much better. You at least get to complete them within a night or two. And so, I tried swearing off novels. No more, I told my muse. But does she listen to me? Nope. Every year, I always get a novel idea that I need to follow through to the end. So, Nanowrimo is a compromise. I'll give the novel a month and the muse won't mention the word "novel" to me for 11 months. So far, it has been working out nicely. Now, if only I can write something that I think is worth publishing...
