Author bio:
In 2008 I participated in NaNoWriMo for the first time, and wrote "10,000 Butterflies", a modern fantasy involving biker mages. I've yet to revisit that draft.
In 2009 I wrote "Bump Up", a story mixing sci-fi + magical realism + the psychological effects of 9/11 on first-responders and their families. I've yet to revisit the draft. I also met and started dating my love Firefly Haven. :)
In 2010 I wrote a 100k young adult fantasy novel "Hester and the Kookaburra King" for my "Guineawick Tales" series. I finished editing that first draft right before this year's NaNo.
For 2011 I plan to write two short stories, one set in the "Guineawick Tales" series, one a sci-fi retelling of the John Henry folktale.
