Author bio:
I work part-time at a local bookstore, which, incidentally, gives me plenty of time to write. I've been writing novels since I was 13 years old, and writing shorter stories even longer than that. Of all the things I've aspired to be since I was a kid - from a veterinarian to a stuntperson to a detective - being a writer is the only thing that's stuck.
I have a degree in Writing, Literature, and Publishing from Emerson College. I'd intended to go into publishing, and it's still something that interests me, but I think that a high-end career in publishing wouldn't leave me much time or energy to write. So while I'd like to make a little more money - just enough to move out of my parents' house - I'm pretty happy where I am write now.
Over the past ten years I've mostly worked on the same piece of work - an epic fantasy saga spanning over 4, possibly 5, books. I've recently had a lot of ideas for teen fiction (mostly fantasy), and will likely concentrate on that for a while. I'm also trying to get some short stories written and published.
I also very much enjoy running, television, and fashion.
