If it's creative, I do it. Whether it's writing songs, poems, metaphysical philosophical meanderings, or novels; painting, drawing, dyeing fiber and yarn; or simply coming up with creative ways to get out of doing just about anything unpleasant, I do it. Some of my former personas included impending rock star, wayward graphic designer, and practicing horsewoman. Now, I'm pretending to be retired before I've even begun an official career. In my "retirement", which is supposed to include a multimillion-dollar bank account (hear that, Universe?), I fancy myself to be a writer. My hope is that one day I will know what I want to be when I grow up, even if I'm a couple of decades behind.
