Author bio:
I'm a visiting professor at The Evergreen State College teaching physics, math and literature. I earned an MFA in poetry from Emerson College and a PhD in physics from New Mexico State University. Born and raised in New Mexico, I've lived all over the country for school, but my heart is still in New Mexico. My favorite genre to write is prose poetry, and I especially likes to include mountain, desert and scientific imagery and themes. I like to explore boundaries, and to put things together that, supposedly, don’t go together. I've always wanted to write a novel, though I find it intimidating, and am excited to try NaNoWriMo!
