Author bio:
A recent graduate from a local university, I am quickly learning that life almost always turns out differently than you imagined it would. I always thought that by this age I would have it all figured out. I would be starting a wonderful career, probably in Europe or something, and I would have two dogs and a cat and maybe a couple fish who would be delighted to spend their lives with me... but that so far is not the case. I do not have the career I've always wanted. No dogs, no cats, no fish. Instead I have a cluttered mind and a longing for travel.
One thing that had never wavered in my life is my love for writing. I appreciate everything it entails, even though I am certainly aware that I am by no means an expert at it. I love creating something from nothing - my goal as a writer is just that: to create for readers something solid - something that appears as though it's always been there, that it's real, that it exists. I suppose that's every writer's goal though.
This is my first time attempting NaNoWriMo, and I am terrified out of my wits. I have so many half formed ideas in my head that I really don't know what will come of this, but I'm certainly willing to find out.
