NaNo is definitely something that I absolutely don't have the time to do this year. But I've decided not to let that get in my way because, really, who ever has the time?
I'm a technical writer in a major IT department here in NoVA. I grew up in a Navy family and tend to write fantasy and sci-fi novels with themes relating to the concept of home and place versus the need to range afield, family, and the interplay of technology and the unexpected with everyday expectations.
I'm also surrounded by a lot of other people who don't have the time to write a novel this November, but who are slightly more attached to reality than I am and are bowing to common sense. So I could use a writing buddy or two - feel free to send me a message if you'd like a cheerleader!
