I was born in Buffalo, New York, before it became the cosmopolitan Mecca it is today. I went to law school in the greatest city in the world, Chicago, Illinois. I spent my first 35 years within a cab ride of a Great Lake, and now I live in the Atlanta area, and WTF did they do with my hockey team? I swear it used to be RIGHT HERE.
I work in Big Telecom writing tower subleases, which while not exactly what you'd call honing my narrative storytelling skills and whatnot, certainly whets my appetite to write things people will actually read.
People have paid me for stuff I've written! Housing and mortgage industry-related articles, but still! Money you get paid for writing has brighter greens and oranges and is crisper and smells better than other money. Am I right?
The 10,001st word is the hardest, for me.
UPDATE: I cleared 10,000 words and kept on truckin' on 11/8/11. Go me!
