Author bio:
I live in rural Wisconsin with my husband and two daughters. My mom taught me to read when I was three years old by writing down words I'd learned on index cards, and I've been stringing words together (literally, at first) ever since. I've been published a few times: Nightengale (poetry) in Lighted Corners, Trash (short story) in The Wall, and Scenes from the Broken Road (creative non-fiction) in A Cup of Comfort for Adoptive Families. Most of my writing over the past several years has been in the form of journalling and blogging. I blog about writing, adoption, foster care, fitness, and anything else that strikes my fancy.
