My official bio: Kristie Cook is a lifelong writer in various genres, from marketing communications to fantasy fiction. Besides writing, she enjoys reading, cooking, traveling and riding on the back of a motorcycle. She has lived in ten states, but currently calls Southwest Florida home with her husband, three teenage sons, a beagle and a puggle. She can be found at www.KristieCook.com.

The unofficial bio: I wrote my first story at 8 years old and knew at that time that I wanted to be a writer. 30 years later, after a career that included resume writing, journalism, professional editing and marketing communications, I finished my first novel - as in, I had a complete book that was actually publishable. PROMISE, the first book in my Soul Savers Series, was published by Ang'dora Productions in 2010. I've since written 3 more novels and a novella.

I'm now living my dream as a full-time writer and wouldn't trade this life for the world.
