Author bio:
I'm not very interesting. Middle aged, oh come on; 58 is middle aged if I live to be 116. Retired, but not by choice. I love animals, especially dogs, painting and drawing, both digital and the old fashioned way. I started writing because I was bored between bingo numbers. It's a long story that doesn't matter. I reconected with an old friend and learned that she was a historical novelist (Nan Hawthorne, author of Beloved Pilgrim and others). When I got up enough courage to show her what I was doing, she was surprised and encouraged me to go with it. That is how I came to inflict on the unsuspecting reading public Molly and the Vampire: A Sensible Woman Learns About Love, Lust, and Things That Go Bump in the Night.
2010 was my first NA NO WRI MO and I was less than 3000 words away from my goal when I ended up in the hospital. I took my laptop with me, but it didn't help. I wasn't thinking straight and couldn't even put a single sentence together. The last week and a half of November are a complete blur. I did finally get down over 94,000 words, but it's not finished yet. This year I am going to win even if I'm dead! I understand that zombies are very big right now.
