Lady Pendragon
Author bio:
Year FIVE and my Bio is still as boring as all get out. FIVE YEARS. I can't believe I've been doing this for FIVE YEARS.
2008: Felis Draconis Among the Tame: House cat is actually a dragon. Wants to be a storybook dragon. Doesn't get her wish, but learns to be happy anyway. Mostly. WIN!
2009: Lucid Dreaming: Boy who doesn't know he's part-fairy meets a full-blooded fairy while working in a psych ward for a scholarship. Learns that sleep is killing her and plans to bust her out and return her to her rightful home. WIN!
AND
Let the Ink Run Free: Author writes a high fantasy novel from the inside out, with himself as the farm boy's Wise Old Mentor. Accomplishes this through a magical ink pen. Everything goes wrong. And it was awesome. One of my best so far. WIN!
2010: The Boy who Lived Across the Street: Life sucks and betting is bad. Over a dozen bets are made between everyone from the Muses of Fantasy to some underminion and his victim. All bets center around a boy trained in villainy who is incorrectly informed that he is the Hero of Prophecy. There is no fourth wall. WIN!
2011: Attempted two-shot, and failed.
Cobblestones: Magic realism/fantastic extended metaphor. Girl goes on a surreal-like journey down a cobblestone road (childhood) that leads to a castle (adulthood). The characters she reads about escort her there. Very nostalgic. DROPPED! due to style restraints (meaning I need to do more reading than I have time for) 11,141
AND
The Legend of Tagalong Island: Some doors should never be opened. Never wake a sleeper before her time. Five people set out to discover the truth behind the national hero of Tagalong Island and end up getting more than they bargained for. WIN!
