Author bio:
Participant in 2005 and every year since 2008. I won in 2009 with "A Great Actress or a Great King" and in 2010 with "Quatre's Drug"... This year I've got "Snake Oil Charmer" on tap, so we'll see how it goes!
Born in Harris County, Texas. Grew up in the Los Angeles suburbs before attending college in Pennsylvania and moving to New York City upon graduation. I have a Master of Fine Arts in creative writing, so I actually know what I'm talking about... in theory. ^_^ I have a younger sister, a younger brother, and a cantankerous cat appropriately named Cleopatra. Other interests (besides noveling!) include: creative nonfiction and poetry, LGBT rights, anime and manga, Earth religions, winterguard and colorguard, etymology, American history, English literature, social psychology.

Details/Info about my write-ins: A bookstore and coffeehouse in La Canada at the crossroads of Foothill Blvd. and Angeles Crest Highway. Free internet, a few power outlets (I will bring a strip, but you should, too, if you can), and some great mocha lattes, hot tea, and blended smoothie-type drinks. (Please buy something and support an independent bookstore!) Street parking on Chevy Chase Dr. (side street) and there's a small lot behind the shop as well.
