Hello, my name is Alexis, and I'm just about the nerdiest girl you will ever have the misfortune of meeting. I'm outgoing, upbeat, and energetic, and I love getting nanomail and making new nanobuddies. I love sci-fi (especially aliens), and am very passionate about Star Trek. I can waste an hour of your time just yapping about continuity (three hours if I'm allowed to mention Star Trek 11, and four if we get into the details of the animated series).
I have an addiction to parenthesis because I have too much to say and too weak of organizational skills to explain myself in a manner that is straight-forward and lacks anecdotes (because they really are such a fun part of writing!) I also have had difficulties creating dynamic characters in the past, but I'm working very hard to get over that and I'm trying to make my next novel a more character driven piece.
I love anime, especially Hetalia, and manga, especially Death Note. I also have a highly embarrassing weakness for the original Japanese version of Tokyo Mew Mew. I am also a fan of MLP (pegasister).
My passion is for the Law and the history of science. I love biographies of scientists and lawyers. Currently my favorite scientist to read about is J. Robert Oppenheimer and my favorite lawyer is Samuel Leibowitz. I am always happy to discuss either man at any time, so feel free to message me!
Other than the hobbies (that aren't really hobbies) listed under Hobbies, I enjoy yoga, fanfiction, and dancing in my room in my socks like nobody is watching (and I hope they aren't).
Feel free to contact me, I love to talk. Also, I love talking about this novel that I'm going to write about a teenage clone of Richard Nixon finding himself in this crazy world :)...
