Synopsis
A guy robs a bank and while trying to escape the police accidentally gets hired as a Librarian.

The New Guy grunted in satisfaction and put the Kindle down, noticing Samantha approaching. He immediately put on his glasses, as if that would make him look more like a librarian, Samantha thought. That was another thing: it appeared to her that he tried like hell to look like a caricature of a librarian. Those glasses that he didn't appear to need, the dowdy suits - only two of them that he traded back and forth on alternate days, rumpled hair and absent-minded manner was perfectly horrendous and probably why Art had voted to hire him - apart from his spotless credentials, Samantha had to admit. The guy was a total bookworm.
"Good morning," said The New Guy.
"Good morning," said Samantha.
"You're supposed to show me how to work the Reference Desk today," The New Guy intoned.
"I thought you already knew how to work a reference desk, Mr. Paraprofessional of the Year," Samantha said snidely. She sighed internally. She was letting him bring out the worst in her, she knew, but she felt like alienating him completely and then crushing him when he found out she could not be fired because her Daddy was mayor. Really, she was being infantile.
