My favorite Quotation: "There's something delicious about writing those first few words of a story. You can never quite tell where they will take you. Mine took me here, where I belong." ~Miss Potter (2006)

I have written two novels for NaNo, both are Lilia Loverly Mysteries.

2007: Time's Up For Father Time

New Year’s Eve at Maple Hill Inn brings the annual costume ball to the small town of Trinity Square, Vermont, but it's unexpected when TIME’S UP FOR FATHER TIME before midnight… literally! Lilia Loverly and her friends Cassie and Emily decide to unofficially aide Sheriff Nescomb in the murder investigation in order to save the reputation of Emily’s Inn. Between love, lies, and family ties, they struggle to discover the truth and reveal the secrets hidden in the shadows.

2010: Sometimes There Is No Rest In Peace

The quaint town of Trinity Square discovers that SOMETIMES THERE IS NO REST IN PEACE, when it finds itself entangled between mythology and urban legend in the second novel of the Lilia Loverly Mystery Series. As romance and betrayal leads to murder, kidnapping, and grave robbery, Lilia helps Roberta Chalaine revisit the haunting memories of a hard-forgotten past in order to save the lives of friends and bring closure to an unsolved crime.

2008: I did what I called a "Rebel NaNo." I went through and revised and edited my middle grade fantasy novel, THE GATEKEEPERS' CHARGE. I definitely put in the 50k plus, but since it was a Rebel NaNo, I did not count it as a win.
