Author bio:
When did I realize I loved writing? Oh goodness...I know that I have diaries dating back to age six. I've always loved documenting and writing down my thoughts, daily events and struggles. Although my point of view is that of a child so reading it as an adult makes me cringe at the logic I used (Believe me, my husband loves reading them and laughs at my childish wisdom and wit as well.)
But when did I really realize I LOVED writing and was a writer? Hmmm. I can remember one moment that really struck home. When I was a kid, I watched Sister Act 2( as did millions of other people) . I remember, as I cannot forget, being touched in the scene where Whoopi Goldberg's character is talking to Lauryn Hill's character. She's trying to help her figure out her dream and she quotes a book. Oh hell , here's the quote.
------> "Don't ask me about being a writer. lf when you wake up in the morning you can think of nothing but writing...then you're a writer.<--------
I am a writer :)
