Born at the tender age of minus six weeks, my life has been ordinarily bizarre throughout. Something of a swot and always the first to put my hand up in classes, I am currently in my... sixteenth year of education. I have this horrible feeling I'm going to end up being a teacher and never escape the system.

I'm a little bit mad, kinda quirky, and, in that respect, just like everyone else. There's no such thing as normal, people. Only the illusion of sanity. And things get so much more fun when you're disillusioned.
My first NaNo was in 2007, where a friend bullied me into doing it five days into November. Needless to say I didn't finish, nowhere near it, but it did start me writing, and I haven't been able to stop since.
During my second NaNo, I came across Galadriel1010. By the simple, if cruel, expedient, of making her lose The Game. She introduced me to the Torchwood fandom, in which was based my third and fourth foray into the madness of NaNoWriMo.
This year's NaNo will involve space pirates, sibling bickering, a one-eyed, clockwork robot cat called Grog, and a hearty amount of insomnia.
Should be fun.
