NaNo 2011 was the greatest challenge I've face so far... and I loved it! The challenge of writing 50k in 30 days was hard enough and I've made myself proud by hitting 61k in 28 days!
But enough of that, it's just my little self-congratulation.
Oh, so some information about me? Well, my name is Lisa. I'm an amatuer writer (curious? Site link >>>>) and I live in the West Midlands of England! Perfect inspiration for my English literary work; but for my fantasy/sci fi, it's less than inspirational. I plan on doing NaNo until I'm so old that I can't physically type any longer, and will definitely do Camp NaNo in June and August! I've also roped my boyfriend into it to write his own post-apocalypse novel!
And finally to quote one of my own NaNo blog posts -
"For all of you who actually are taking part in NaNo this year, good luck. I want to see you on the other side of that finish line, panting and dousing yourself with cold water. I’m sure I’ll be the same, exhausted, fed up of the story, and just happy to be finished. In which case, November will be a great success."
