Author bio:

Science nerd with writer's block; there's a warren of plot bunnies in my head but they only ever show their faces and tails. My writing style's probably heavily influenced by Joss Whedon of late as, from having seen pretty much nothing of his by this time two years ago, I have now seen all the Buffy, Angel and Firefly ever filmed by this time last year and pretty much nothing else but Doctor Who for years. However, as this summer's been spent reading Eoin Colfer, Good Omens and Hitch-Hiker's, that's finding its way into my writing style too, which should help narrative prose.
My main problem is striving to uphold scientific accuracy - not as much of a problem as you'd expect when my plots revolve around vampires, magic, superheroes, 18th century airship pirates and killer snowmen. Four of the above have been started and never finished; hopefully, airship pirates will be finished this year. However, hopefulness is one thing and chance is another. How much I can actually commit to prose in the five minutes I have spare each day remains to be seen.
