Author bio:

I've wanted to write since I first stumbled onto fanfiction. But I've never really been good at going the distance, which is where NaNo comes in. 2007 was my first attempt, but I dropped off at the end. I got a good 20 or 30k, though, which I was proud of all the same.

I told myself I'd keep the NaNo spirit afterwards, but I lost it. Which is why returned in '09. I didn't do it in '08 because I wanted to finish my original NaNo story, but then a year more passed and it was still not done. And I realised I needed NaNo back in my life because I'd gone really slack, so I couldn't not do it.

The stories I plan to write are a trilogy, which is why I came back in '10. Its about vampires, so I'd say its fair to call it fantasy. I always liked fantasy. Particularly vampires. And I've had these characters in my head since at least '05.

I came so close last year, I still don't know officially what my end wordcount was; my internet bombed out on me with just a couple days to go, so I just gave up. But this year's gonna be my year. Hopefully.

And because I've already covered the vampire trilogy in the last three years I've done nano, I plan to do my adoption one next, about three specific orphans from the same orphanage and how their lives take a turn later in their lives right back towards each other again. Wish me luck.
