Author bio:
Lou M. Crouk was born three decades ago in a small town in Germany. Lou's passions are history and writing, which she loves to combine. Lou hates pigeonholing, for herself as much as for her stories. She says of herself that she consists of contradictions, but that's just how she likes it. Currently, she lives near the German border with her husband and two cats.
Lou is a sticker for accuracy and a good amount of realism in her stories, but that's never stopped her from writing about supernatural beings either. Her stories cover a range of genres, from romance to drama, from historical novel to science fiction, and often can't be classified as a single genre. Her stories usually are gay fiction and are likely to include erotica as part of the plot (though not for its own sake). Though she has written several short stories and novellas, her story ideas tend to be on the epic side of the novel length spectrum.
Currently searching for interested proof readers. Must be native speaker of English (since Lou isn't) and be willing to deal with gay romance and sex, historical settings (18th century Europe and 1980s NYC), lots of angst, supernatural themes (vampires). I'm looking for help on grammar and spelling (the usual) as well as on the plot (ie. plotholes, ambiguities, effect on the audience, etc.) I don't expect of a proof reader to be able to do all that (though I wouldn't say no to someone who'd like to help with all!) I can take constructive criticism well and, in fact, find it necessary to advance my writing.
